hide launch bar

If you are using Ubuntu 11.xx or greater you are familiar with Unity and it’s launch bar. Some times this bar can just be in the way or become annoying taking up desktop real estate. Luckily hiding this sucker is a snap.

hide launch bar From the launch bar open “System settings”, then select “appearance” and finally select the “Behaviour” tab. From here set “Auto-hide the launcher” to “on” and set the desired sensitivity. The sensitivity is how much you will have to roll your cursor over the reveal area to make the launcher pop out.
